OUR TRAINERS – Amy

personal trainer

Amy

Amy Webster has forged a reputation for herself as a personal trainer who works holistically with clients – body and mind – to help them realise their health and fitness aspirations.

Alongside her work as a personal trainer, Amy is also a trained specialist in working with children and adults who are on the autism spectrum, particularly in the delivery of sport and physical activity programs.

She has a background in physical education and holds a Certificate III and IV in Fitness.

Since moving to Australia from the UK, Amy has quickly become known as a trainer with heart and focus. She is passionate about helping her clients realise victory in achieving small goals on the way to their larger objective.

“I love working with clients who are looking for small wins because they don’t overthink what they are doing,” Amy explained. “They are not looking to smash records and PBs, but in doing this they are exceeding their original expectations.”

“This helps them to achieve a sustainable change in their lifestyle rather than becoming overwhelmed competing with themselves or approaching getting fit as a fad.

“To achieve this, I believe you have to work with the whole person; their physical and mental wellbeing and catering sessions to that individual rather than a one-size-fits all approach to fitness.”

Alongside her work at Arcadium HQ, Amy delivers the Inclusive Sport and Physical Activity course for Sporting Wheelies and Disabled Association Queensland and is currently reviewing and updating training manuals for Queensland’s Anti-Discrimination Commission.

A self-confessed nerd who loves sport, Amy is not your typical personal trainer. And she wouldn’t have it any other way!
